Product executive · robotics & AI leader

I build technology that works in the real world.

I’ve spent 20+ years building and leading products in robotics, simulation, AI, enterprise software, and consumer hardware. I like hard technical problems, clear customer needs, and teams that ship.

Selected work.

I work across product, engineering, and go-to-market. These are two recent products I built from scratch.

001

Marvenn

I founded Marvenn and built the product from scratch. It brings email, AI voice, LinkedIn outreach, and intent signals into one system. AI prepares the work, but a person reviews and approves what gets sent.

Marvenn MCP Server

I built an MCP server so people can use Marvenn from compatible AI clients. They can inspect campaigns, work with leads, and manage pending actions in natural language. Permissions stay scoped, and important actions still require approval.

02 / How I work

How I work.

I’m hands-on and comfortable with a wide scope. I can set product direction, write a technical spec, work through implementation details, talk to customers, and help sell what we build.

Find the real problem

Before adding features or process, I figure out what is actually holding the team or customer back.

Make the controls obvious

Especially with AI, people need to know what the system can do, what it did, and where they make the call.

Stay accountable

I don’t throw problems over the wall. I stay close to engineering, customers, delivery, and results until the work is done.

Founder

Marvenn, Inc.

I lead product, engineering, customer delivery, sales, and day-to-day operations for an AI-powered B2B platform.

Founder / operator

Take Five Enterprises, LLC

I build and operate independent ventures, and handle the practical work needed to keep them moving.

03 / Experience

Experience.

My career has covered enterprise software, retail AI, consumer hardware, and large-scale robotics. In every role, the job was the same: turn a hard technical problem into something useful.

2020 to 2025
Amazon Robotics

Simulation for large-scale robotics systems.

Senior Technical Program Manager · Simulation

I lead simulation programs that let Amazon test automation before it reaches a live fulfillment center. The work brings robotics, material handling equipment, facility design, and software into the same digital model.

  • Delivered 10+ simulation projects and full-building digital twins that de-risked multi-billion-dollar fulfillment center builds and avoided millions in capital expense.
  • Led integration of robotic floors with material handling equipment to validate complex physical interactions at scale.
  • Directed initiatives spanning AI simulation, simulation federation, and Sim-in-the-Loop testing, while mentoring the TPM community and shaping next-generation facility roadmaps.
2018 to 2020
Avana Technologies · Avana3D

Consumer 3D printing and virtual eyewear.

CEO & Co-Founder

I worked on two products: a low-cost inkjet 3D printer for homes and offices, and an iPhone app that let shoppers try on eyewear virtually.

  • Conceptualized and co-developed a low-cost inkjet 3D printer for home and office use, including a patent filing that streamlined the printing process.
  • Built and launched an iPhone virtual-commerce application for eyewear, securing retail installations before pandemic-related store closures.
2013 to 2017
Rubikloud Technologies

AI products for enterprise retail.

Co-Founder · CTO → CPO → VP Product Partnerships

I helped build Rubikloud from the first technical architecture through product leadership and global partnerships. During that time, the company reached an approximately $100M valuation.

  • Invented and launched RUDI, a patented AI recommendation engine for e-commerce, in three months.
  • Architected a real-time big-data platform able to ingest and stream unstructured sources dynamically.
  • Built product partnerships with Oracle and Salesforce, integrating Rubikloud applications into global marketing clouds and generating millions of dollars in pipeline.
2004 to 2013
Exclusive Concepts

From services to SaaS.

VP, Product Development

I led the shift to a SaaS conversion optimization platform and helped grow annual revenue from roughly $300K to more than $10M.

  • Managed core DNS and reverse-proxy infrastructure, improving performance for hundreds of enterprise retail clients.
  • Connected product development, infrastructure, and measurable commercial outcomes through a decade of company growth.
Education

Finance, language, and international perspective

BSc in Finance with a Chinese minor, cum laude, from Bentley University; intensive Mandarin study at Harvard University; and international finance and risk management at RMIT University.

Invention

2 U.S. patent applications

Named inventor on published work in business data analysis and simpler 3D printing workflows.

04 / Patents

Patent work.

I have two published U.S. patent applications. Both came from the same instinct: take something technically complicated and make it useful to people.

System and Method for Computational Analysis of the Potential Relevance of Digital Data Items to Key Performance Indicators

At Rubikloud, I was the first-named inventor on a system that brings together large amounts of data from different sources, uses tree-based analysis to find the events most likely to affect a business KPI, and can turn those findings into recommendations.

Applicant: Rubikloud Technologies Inc.

Systems and Methods for Configuring an Additive Manufacturing Device

At Avana, I designed a simpler way for someone to choose a 3D object on a phone and send a printer-ready file to a compatible 3D printer without needing to understand slicing or machine settings.

Applicant: Avana Technologies, Inc. Inventor: Daniel Adam Theirl.

Let’s build something useful.

I’m open to product leadership roles with teams working on AI, robotics, simulation, and automation. If the problem is hard and the work matters, I’d like to hear about it.
